George Pór

George is a sociologist and business philosopher who holds a Visiting Researcher post in the Complexity Research Group at London School of Economics. He is an advisor to senior management in large organisations, in matters of increasing value creation with communities of practice. He is the Founder of Community Intelligence Labs (California), Co-Founder and Senior Consultant of CommunityIntelligence Ltd (UK), and Executive Director of the European Collaborative for Communities of Practice.
He brings the insights and experience of two decades spent in designing, facilitating and teaching about virtual communities in business and other organisations. His specialties also include knowledge ecology, the organic way to knowledge management, and augmenting collective intelligence in teams and organisations. He served as Visiting Senior Research Fellow at INSEAD (2001-2002) where he further developed his "Community Design Architecture" framework for building successful communities.
His past clients include: Bull SA, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, European Foundation for Management Development, Gulf Canada, Hewlett Packard, Intel, Octel, Procter & Gamble, Sun Microsystems, Swiss Re and Unilever.
