Ali Hossaini is one of the pioneers of interactive television.
He manages two interactive television channels for Rainbow Media
in New York, and he is currently developing ArtTV, a video arts
network. He is also producing a feature film, Layla and a documentary,
Ten Days in Burma. He spent two years as a Vice President at Oxygen
Media, where he developed business strategy, managed several teams
of producers and negotiated a community partnership with AOL Time
Warner. He helped launch MSNBC, WorldLinkTV and TechTV. At the
latter, he developed relationships with major online partners,
including ZDNet, and launched the Television Palace, an application
that merges chat and television into a virtual environment.
