Pete Bradshaw and Stephen Powell work as principal researchers
and online facilitators at Ultralab, "one of the most respected
e-learning centres in the world", (Financial Times,
2001). Part of the team responsible for designing, establishing
and managing online communities for headteachers and other school
leaders, we work as consultants to the National College for School
Leadership (NCSL) and Department for Education and Skills (DfES)
in England. Our technology platform and tools are designed and
hosted in partnership with Oracle, BT and the BBC. Ultralab has
been involved in designing and running online communities in education
since the 1980s and is regularly consulted by education ministries
around the world.
