The meeting fee is US$ 895 and is payable in advance of the meeting. The fee includes the two-day meeting, two lunches, and all breaks. Please note meeting fees are payable in respect of all reservations for this event unless a cancellation has been received under the terms below. For those working at an academic institution, there is a limited number of places at a special academic rate of US$580. For those booking and paying before 18 February 2008, there is a special early booking rate of US$775.
Organizations will receive a discount of 15% on all bookings for the Search Engine Meeting or Tutorials if three or more bookings from the same organization are received. Bookings for multiple attendees must be received at the same time and be invoiced on the same invoice. This discount is not applicable to the academic rate.
Notice of cancellations must be received at least ten working days prior to the event (ie, before April 14, 2008); a cancellation, refund and handling fee of $95 will be charged. Cancellations notified after this date cannot be accepted for refund, and the full meeting fee will stand. Substitutions may be made at any time.
Hotel accommodation is not included in the meeting price. The meeting hotel, the Fairmont Copley Plaza, has a limited block of rooms available for attendees at this meeting. The special meeting rate is $261 per room per night. Those booking should mention "Search Engine Meeting: Infonortics" and the meeting code GRSEM1 to be given this special rate. Once this room block is fully occupied, normal hotel rates may apply. Reservations must be made before March 24 to take advantage of the special room rate. Registrations may be made at the meeting registration desk at the Fairmont Copley Plaza on Sunday April 27 from 4 pm until 6.30 pm, or on Monday April 28 from 7.45 am.
The meeting sessions begin on Monday April 28 at 9 am. The meeting ends Tuesday April 29 at approximately 5 pm.. Pre-conference breakfast on the Monday and Tuesday mornings is from 8 am..
