Abe is Founder, President and Chief Technology Officer of Deep
Web Technologies. He has 25 years of software engineering experience.
Beginning a career with HP, he was recruited to be a co-founder
of Verity, a start-up pioneer in search engine technology. Abe
left Verity to start his own company, Innovative Web Applications
(IWA), a software consultancy primarily serving Los Alamos National
Laboratory (LANL). From his work there, Explorit was created.
Realizing the enormous potential for federated searching, Abe
left IWA to start Deep Web Technologies in 2002. DWT is at the
forefront of building highly distributed solutions to information
retrieval problems built on modern open standards that address
the challenges of scaling.
Abe holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology.
