Brad Allen

Brad Allen is a proven technology visionary. Siderean Software is the fifth company for whom Brad has developed products and brought them to market from the initial concept and design to full scale completion and implementation. Siderean’s navigation software, Seamark Navigator, is sophisticated enough to be deployed within the U.S. government security agencies and some of the most well respected financial and manufacturing institutions in the country.
Like any true visionary, Brad believes the industry status quo must be challenged and improved. The reality in the current search landscape is that today’s solutions are falling short for the enterprise because too often the results are too broad or not specific enough.
Brad responded to these shortcomings when he unveiled the fourth generation of Seamark Navigator 4.0, on April 24th 2006. This new version allows enterprise executives to aggregate, organize and humanize information from multiple sources on the Web and within the enterprise to have a bird’s eye view of all the relevant and available information on a topic, while drilling down to a bug’s eye view of the specific data needed to make mission critical business decisions.
Allen has had a passion for technology all his life. He has been awarded five U.S. patents in metadata, online predictive memory, autonomous learning and reasoning and case-based reasoning systems in the more than 20 years he has worked in IT. In 1995, as co-founder of Limbex Corporation, he created WebCompass, an Internet search tool that won Best of Show at COMDEX Fall '95 and in 1984, while at Inference Corporation, he created Inference CBR, one of the first CRM problem resolution products on the market.
