Steve Cohen is a co-founder of Basis Technology and is currently responsible for the planning and operation of the company's product development group. Under his guidance, over the past year alone, Basis Technology has delivered over ten product releases, providing sophisticated linguistic software for the company's customers including Google, FAST, Overture, Convera and Endeca. Steve has helped develop Basis Technology from the beginning, having served as VP Technical Services and VP Operations. Prior to Basis Technology, Steve held various management and technical positions with Cognex, Foxboro Corporation, and Teradyne. Steve earned a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT, and studied at Waseda University in Tokyo.
