Ms Roopangi Kadakia is the Director of Systems, Security and
New Technology for FirstGov.gov. In this capacity she is responsible
for coordinating, researching and initiating all FirstGov systems
and making sure that all implementations follow the strictest
government and industry security protocol.
Prior to coming to FirstGov, Roopangi was a Senior Information
Specialist at Peace Corps. She has also worked as a computer specialist
at several private companies. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer
in Malawi. Roopangi holds a Bachelors Degree from Trinity University
and a Masters Degree from the University of Texas.
