Dr. Monika Hanelt is the information services manager of Agfa Graphics – more precisely the head of the patent information specialists and the library of Agfa Graphics in Belgium located in the intellectual property department. She joined the Belgium site of Agfa in June 2002 as head of patent information specialists with more than 20 years experience as patent information specialist at the German site of Agfa. She has a degree in chemistry followed by a Ph.D. in organic chemistry at Cologne university. She represents Agfa Graphics in several patent information user groups such as the Dutch WON and the PDG - Patent Documentation Group- where she is member of the Board and Vice-President.
