Arriving by plane at Barcelona Airport
The shortest non-taxi way to Sitges from Barcelona Airport is to take the train from the airport terminal (single ticket costs about 3 euros). Trains depart from the airport every half an hour. Please consult the website of the RENFE company for the timetable of departures from the airport, and other relevant information.
The first stop of the train is at El Prat de Llobregat (see the map below) where you need to change to another train for Sitges (Line No.2 - usually departing from Platform 1), direction St. Vicent de Calders.
The trip from El Prat to Sitges takes about 25 minutes.
Alternatively you can take a taxi from Barcelona Airport, for an estimated cost (Barcelona Airport to Sitges - one way) of about 45 Euros.
Once in Sitges, you can reach the Hotel Melia by foot (around 15 minutes) or by taxi. Taxis are usually available at the train station as well (estimated price: 6 Euros).
