Fee
The conference fee is 
950
and is payable in advance. The fee includes the two and a half
day conference and exhibition, two lunches, the conference cocktail,
the conference welcome dinner, the Tuesday Conference Dinner,
the proceedings (CD-ROM), and all breaks. Please note conference
fees are payable in respect of all reservations for this event
unless a cancellation has been received under the terms below.
The Wednesday afternoon tutorial is separate from the meeting;
participation fee is 215 per person.
Multiple bookings
Organisations will receive a discount of 15% on all bookings if three or more bookings from the same organisation are received. Bookings for multiple attendees must be received at the same time and be invoiced on the same invoice.
Cancellations and substitutions
Notice of cancellations must be received at least ten working days prior to the event (ie, before 7 October); a cancellation, refund and handling fee of 95 euros will be charged. Cancellations notified after this date cannot be accepted for refund, and the full conference fee will stand. Substitutions may be made at any time.
Hotel accommodation
Hotel accommodation is not included
in the conference price. A hotel booking form will be sent
to you with your joining instructions after receipt of your confererence
order form. The meeting hotel, the Meliá
Sitges, has a block of rooms available for this meeting. To obtain
the conference rate of 135 per room
including breakfast (153 for a two-person
room), hotel bookings must be made on the meeting order
form obtainable from Infonortics.
Travel to and from Sitges
The hotel is an easy taxi ride from Barcelona Airport. There is also a train service from Barcelona Airport, and from Barcelona, to Sitges (Sitges station is around 5 minutes by taxi from the hotel). Sitges is 25 km south of Barcelona.
Conference registration and registration times
Registration may be made at the conference registration desk at the Hotel Meliá Sitges on Sunday 21 October from 15.00 until 19.00, or on Monday 22 October from 08.00.
The Prous Science Mixer Cocktail and Dinner on the Sunday evening will start at 19.30 and will be at the Hotel Meliá Sitges.
The conference sessions begin on Monday 22 October at 08:30. The conference ends Wednesday 24 October at approximately 13.00.
The conference cocktail (sponsored by Questel) will take place Monday 22 October at 18.30.
The conference cocktail reception (sponsored by CAS) and the conference dinner (sponsored by Thomson Scientific) will take place Tuesday 23 October at 19:00.
