Elisabeth Gayon has spent thiry-two years in information management,
half in academic and governmental agencies, and half in industry
(pharmaceutical, then petroleum, now chemicals). She is currently
in charge of business information in the Strategic Planning Division
of the new ARKEMA company which has succeeded ATOFINA. At ARKEMA
she is also in charge of various training courses in competitive
intelligence.
Ms Gayon's academic background includes a master's degree in
philosophy (Sorbonne), a diploma of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques
de Paris, and a master's degree in information science.
