After Patrick Fiévet graduated in computer sciences
in Paris with the option computer ystem modelling in 1983, he
spent the first half of his career with the Alcatel group as manager
in Electronic Document Management projects. Since 1992 he has
been working at WIPO and leading the implementation of IT systems
for the Patent Cooperation Treaty, mostly in the field of electronic
publishing. He joined the CLAIMS project at the end of 2002 with
a view to taking over the management of the project.

Caspar Fall obtained his PhD in solid-state computational physics
at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne. In early
2002 he joined ELCA Informatique SA as a consultant in the e-document
division. Since September 2002 he has been working on computer-assisted
categorisation as an external consultant at WIPO in the context
of the CLAIMS project.
