Ricardo Vieira joined MicroPatent in 1998. He is the VP responsible
for
product management, product research and marketing and documentation.
He
also manages MicroPatent's European operation based in London
and has
responsibility for communication with patent offices and other
partners. Mr
Vieira has held a variety of roles within MicroPatent including
Marketing
and PR, Technical Support, Pre-sales consultancy and Business
Development.
He is currently secretary of PATCOM, the association of commercial
patent
information providers. Despite a BSc in Agronomy, he tends to
cultivate
people rather than plants.
