Shirley Bailey-Wood became Director of the Chemistry and Life
Sciences Unit for Thomson Derwent in January 2000, with responsibility
for the Product Development, Project Management, international
sales and production teams which comprise the division. She joined
the company in 1992 and has held a variety of roles within the
product development groups focused on the management of the chemistry,
pharmaceutical and online product ranges. Prior to working at
Derwent, she was the European Marketing Manager for one of Derwent's
online distributors and within the patent information unit at
Glaxo.

Bob Stembridge became CLS Corporate Business Manager for Thomson
Derwent in May 2002, with responsibility for co-ordination and
support of CLS sales activity and liaison with customer user groups
for the division. He joined the company originally in 1980 and
has held various roles in editorial, marketing, sales and product
development over the years. Leaving in 1988 for interludes working
as information analyst at British Petroleum and European Sales
Liaison with Dialog, he returned to Thomson Derwent in 1996.
