Alfred Elmaleh joined the Institut Français du Pétrole's
(IFP) patent departement, Rueil-Malmaison France, in 1982. He
has been the department head since 1989. After receiving his engineering
degree, he specialised in the petroleum field at the Ecole Nationale
du Pétrole et des Moteurs (IFP's school). He has a PhD
in the thermal machine field and is a graduate from the International
Study Centre of Industrial Property, and from the Companies Administration
Institute.
