Anthony Trippe currently holds the position of Practice Director,
Intellectual Property Consulting for Aurigin Systems Inc, where
he is responsible for developing Intellectual Property Consulting
Services as part of the Aurigin Professional Services group. Mr.
Trippe is working with many of the Fortune 50 companies in developing
work processes and methods of analysis for Intellectual Property
related research.
Previously, Mr Trippe was Technical Intelligence Manager for the
Procter and Gamble Co, where he was responsible for managing work
processes and analytical tools pertaining to Technical Intelligence
and R&D decision support. Mr Trippe was also with Technology
and Patent Research as a Patent Information Scientist responsible
for performing patentability, validity and other assorted prior
art searching for clients on a contract basis and spent three
years with Chemical Abstracts Service as Southwestern Regional
Marketing and Training Consultant and five years working as a
Synthetic Organic Chemist in the biotech/pharma industry in San
Diego, California. The highlight of Mr Trippe's career as an organic
chemist included the synthesis of the first 500g GMP batch of
Viracept for Agouron Pharmaceuticals. This material was used in
the Phase One human clinical trials of Viracept, which is currently
the number one prescribed HIV protease inhibitor in the United
States.
Mr Trippe is one of the incorporators of the Patent Information
Users Group Inc (PIUG Inc), a member of the Society of Competitive
Intelligence Professionals (SCIP), a member of the Special Librarians
Association, and a member of the Program Committee for the Chemical
Information Division of the American Chemical Society.
