John Murray is the Pharmaceutical Solutions Director of Oracle Corporation's Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Division. He joined Oracle in February 1995 and built the EMEA Pharmaceutical Solutions Group. Initially, this group concentrated on the industry's requirement for Cinical Data Management systems, but soon expanded its role into the provision of a range of product and service offerings, tailored to the needs of a highly regulated environment. The most important of these offerings will shortly include the fruit of collaborative ventures with PwC and Dendrite.
John acquired his training in computing technology at IBM. Before that, he got his hands wet by helping to establish a biotechnology start-up, which provided Genetically Modified cultures to the European Agricultural sector.
He received his degree in Microbial Genetics from University College Dublin, but has lived and worked for the past 19 years in London.
