Isabelle Morelon is currently deputy manager of the Exploration
& Production Information Department at the Institut Français
du Pétrole (IFP). After graduation from ENSG, Nancy, France,
and a PhD prepared in the IFP School, she joined IFP for performing
research and development on different topics: R&D relative
to enhanced oil recovery, geostatiscal reservoir characterisation,
uncertainties on reservoir production forecasts. In 1997, she
joined the IFP information department, and is in charge of competitive
intelligence activity for the oil and gas upstream sector.
Isabelle Morelon was the chairman of the French section of the
Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) from May 1999 to May 2001.
